The film features performances by Ghjuvanna Benedetti, Saveriu Santucci, Anthony Morganti, Andrea Cossu, Frederic Poggi, Régis Gomez, and Eric Ettori. Check out the trailer below...
In the bright, sun-drenched summer of 1995 on Corsica, Lesia is removed from her sheltered life and brought to a distant villa where her fugitive mob boss father, Pierre-Paul, is hiding. Pierre-Paul is a threatening presence, relatively unfamiliar to Lesia, and initially, she feels trapped by the secrecy and peril surrounding his existence. But when an assassination attempt ignites a series of bloody vendettas, Lesia and Pierre-Paul are forced to escape together. As they flee, Lesia grows closer to her father, and amid the violent underworld he's part of, his thirst for revenge begins to affect her. The Kingdom tells a tale of blood: blood shed, blood hunted, and the blood that connects us.
The Kingdom will be released in theaters on May 30th.
