Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arrive in World of Warships: Legends.
The April updates for Wargaming’s World of Warships: Legends and World of Warships introduce a plethora of new content. Legends sees the much-adored Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles joining the fray in a fresh collaboration, while PC players gain access to new ships, badges, and a limited-time battle type. Check out the update trailers below.
In World of Warships: Legends, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles make their entrance into the turbulent seas with themed Commander outfits and new skins as part of a collaboration event. Players can gather limited-edition ‘Pizza Time’ crates, with two available for free by completing the new Turtle Power! mission and progressing through the Dragon’s Voyage campaign during this update.
This update also introduces War Tales, a brand-new PvE game mode where teams of three to five players collaborate to accomplish objectives using Tier III ships and above. Three War Tales will be available, each featuring unique missions, such as escorts and securing control points.
Players will have the chance to undertake the Hindenburg Marathon, earning the special currency known as Ship Parts to receive the primary reward of the German Legendary Tier cruiser Hindenburg. Ship Parts can be earned through various activities, including the main campaign, bonuses from Store purchases, and weekly assignments.
For World of Warships, the April update brings a new Dockyard with two ships up for grabs. Players can complete 20 construction phases to unlock the German Tier IX Premium heavy cruiser Blücher, which boasts highly accurate shots and armor-piercing shells with enhanced penetration, improved ricochet angles, and flat ballistics. Along this journey, players can finish the first eight Dockyard phases to unlock the Tier VII Commonwealth light cruiser Gambia, equipped with high-explosive shells and a Short Burst Smoke Generator.
New Efficiency Badges have been introduced, allowing players to showcase their combat skills. These badges, earned through completing Random Battles, come in four tiers and can be displayed on ships in the player's profile summary, with the highest tier achieved being shown.
Lastly, the Unbreakable Line battle type has been added, featuring a respawn mechanism for players to enjoy. Until May 15th, players using Tier VIII-IX battleships, cruisers, and destroyers can engage in 7 vs. 7 skirmishes, racing to reach 1000 points for victory. Points can be scored by capturing objectives and sinking enemy ships, which will respawn to rejoin the battle.
