Breaking Glass Pictures has unveiled a poster and trailer for writer-director Adam Jack’s survival thriller, Jackknife.
The film focuses on two young siblings whose peaceful day in the woods takes a horrifying turn when they unintentionally kill a drifter who threatens them violently.
The cast features Tivon Charles, Payton Mills, Erica Sherwood, Douglas Vermeeren, Thain Wesley, Dillon Parnell, Marc Rico Ludwig, Red Carlsen, Evan Lewis Dolinski, and Michael James. You can watch the trailer below...
Jackknife presents a gripping narrative of survival and justice, depicting the harrowing journey of a young Black brother and sister whose tranquil fishing day in the woods devolves into a nightmare. When a violent altercation with an enigmatic drifter forces them to defend themselves, a tragic act of self-defense ignites a profound emotional and moral conflict.
Jackknife is scheduled for release on April 29th.
