Saban Films has released a poster and trailer for Ashley Cahill's action thriller Resurrection Road, set during the Civil War. The film follows Barabbas, a former slave who leads an elite squad of soldiers on a mission to infiltrate a Confederate fort and destroy its weaponry. However, their task takes a dark twist when they stumble upon a horrifying secret in the Arkansas wilderness.
The cast features Malcolm Goodwin, Furly Mac, Triana Browne, Okea Eme-Akwari, Randall J. Bacon, Jeff Daniel Phillips, and Michael Madsen. You can check out the trailer below.
An elite unit of six soldiers, led by ex-slave Barabbas, embarks on a dangerous mission to breach a heavily fortified Confederate fort deep in the Arkansas woods. Their goal is to eliminate the fort’s long-range artillery and alter the course of the war. As they delve deeper into enemy lines, the soldiers encounter a chilling revelation hidden deep within the forest—one that will challenge their bravery, loyalty, and determination to survive like never before.
Resurrection Road is scheduled to be released on June 6th.
