Taylor Sheridan collaborates with Brandon Sklenar for the action thriller F.A.S.T.

Taylor Sheridan is making a return to theaters after spending several years with Paramount+, as the creator of Yellowstone is producing the action thriller F.A.S.T., featuring 1923 star Brandon Sklenar and directed by Ben Richardson.

F.A.S.T. is based on a script that Sheridan wrote in the mid-2010s, and it follows a former special forces commando who struggles after coming back to the U.S. He is recruited by the DEA to lead a covert strike team against drug dealers protected by the CIA in his community.

"The scope of Taylor Sheridan's work is truly remarkable and unmatched in terms of quality and consistency, and we are incredibly honored to be collaborating with him on this film," said Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group’s Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy in a statement. "With the immensely talented director Ben Richardson at the helm, along with the outstanding production efforts of Heyday Films and Bosque Ranch, we are excited to have such an extraordinary creative team bringing F.A.S.T. to life on the big screen."

David Heyman and Jeffrey Clifford of Heyday Films will be producing the film, and Sheridan, along with Jenny Wood from Bosque Ranch Productions, is in discussions to join them.

F.A.S.T. is scheduled for a theatrical release on April 23, 2027, by Warner Bros.
