Amazon MGM Studios has revealed that the new action-comedy film The Pickup will be available on Prime Video starting August 6th.
Helmed by director Tim Story, the movie features an ensemble cast including Eddie Murphy, Keke Palmer, Pete Davidson, Eva Longoria, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Jack Kesy, Andrew Dice Clay, Marshawn Lynch, and Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoa’i. You can view the poster, synopsis, and first-look images here.
In The Pickup, what begins as a routine cash collection swiftly spirals into chaos when two mismatched armored truck drivers, Russell (Eddie Murphy) and Travis (Pete Davidson), find themselves ambushed by ruthless criminals led by the cunning Zoe (Keke Palmer), who has schemes that extend far beyond the cash cargo. As the situation deteriorates, this unlikely pair must contend with high-stakes danger, clashing personalities, and an increasingly disastrous day.
The Pickup is set to debut on Prime Video on August 6th.
