The second chapter of the Light and Rain storyline in DC Universe Online is now accessible.

      Daybreak Games has revealed that the second chapter of the Light and Rain storyline in DC Universe Online is now accessible to players. The chapter, titled Fearful Day, immerses players in a conflict on the living planet Mogo, introducing a new Raid, Alert, and Solo mission. A new trailer showcases the updates in this chapter.

      Players at level 20 and above can delve into the expansive world of Mogo, which features an engaging narrative spanning the planet's surface and its core, alongside numerous new battles. After completing the main storyline, players can undertake a range of repeatable daily and weekly missions that provide valuable rewards.

      A new Raid event named Defending Mogo challenges players to join Hal Jordan in investigating the rogue Yellow Lantern Corps’ invasion of Mogo. Players will need to traverse intricate caverns and prevent fear from diminishing the planet's willpower.

      The new 4-player daily Alert, Protecting Mogo, offers a scaled-down version of the Raid for smaller teams. This Alert includes key narrative and combat moments, such as battling Qwardian defenses and confronting Amon Sur.

      The Solo mission introduces the Fearful Day storyline and sets the groundwork for the next two chapters of Light and Rain. Players will visit the Hidden Lantern Village, home to a tranquil Blue Lantern community, and search for missing Blue Lantern school students while uncovering the dark influence affecting the village.

      Additional features in this chapter include:

      - New Augments, Currency, Exobytes, Catalysts, and Gear inspired by Qwardians and Indigo Lantern, Luzia Cavalera.

      - The return of two classic operations in Flashback form – Strike Team and Assault and Battery.

      - The Fearful Day event, lasting four weeks, allows players to team up with the Lantern Corps to combat fear and protect Mogo's existence, running until June 24th.

      - An Elite Henchmen Uplink Device: Oan Tactical Assault, enabling players to summon two Green Lanterns and a Blue Lantern Officer for temporary combat assistance, not applicable in PvP Deathmatch Arenas for obvious reasons.

      - Two new Artefact Slots that allow players to equip up to five Artefacts, now limited to a 15% cap per stat for balance.

      - A new Artefact: Sinestro’s Corrupted Lantern Ring – When used by a Controller, it summons a spectral Avatar of Fear that weakens adversaries and boosts damage. When used by a Damage dealer, it conjures an Avatar of Will.

      The Fearful Day chapter is now live in DC Universe Online.
