      With only a month remaining until Nyaight of the Living Cat premieres on Crunchyroll, a new trailer has been released for the upcoming anime series. Directed by Takashi Miike and Tomohiro Kamitani, and based on the manga by Hawkman and Mecha-Roots, the story revolves around a virus that transforms humans into cats upon contact with these animals.

      Run! The Sweet Cats Are Here! In 20XX, cats rule the world. A virus responsible for changing anyone who interacts with a cat into one themselves has triggered a global nyandemic. Cats approach humans, causing them to morph into cats. Will humanity resist their desire to pet cats in order to survive in a feline-dominated environment?
