Inspired by true stories, SOVEREIGN is a gripping and thought-provoking true crime thriller centered on a father and his teenage son—Jerry and Joseph Kane (Nick Offerman and Jacob Tremblay)—who subscribe to the Sovereign Citizen belief system, characterized by a profound distrust of government authority.

As they travel across the nation conducting self-taught legal seminars and challenging the systems they feel have let them down, their journey leads them to confront Police Chief Jim Bouchart (Dennis Quaid), triggering a tragic sequence of events that compels them to grapple with themes of power, principle, and the boundaries of freedom.

Sovereign is set to be released in theaters and on demand on July 11th.
