Andrew Garfield is set to star alongside Yura Borisov in Luca Guadagnino's Artificial.

      Former Spider-Man Andrew Garfield has joined the cast of Luca Guadagnino’s upcoming film, Artificial, where he will star alongside Anora’s Yura Borisov.

      Artificial is characterized as a “comedic drama revolving around the realm of artificial intelligence.” Guadagnino will direct from a screenplay by Simon Rich (An American Pickle), with production involving Rich, Heyday Films’ David Heyman and Jeffrey Clifford, as well as Jennifer Fox.

      Borisov recently received an Oscar nomination for his performance in Anora, competing in the Best Supporting Actor category, while Garfield was recently seen in the romantic drama We Live in Time alongside Florence Pugh.

      This film will also represent a second collaboration between Garfield and Guadagnino, as Garfield is set to appear in the director’s After The Hunt this fall for Amazon MGM. Artificial is being produced by Amazon MGM Studios, though a release date has not yet been revealed.
