Dread has unveiled a trailer, poster, and images for Die’ced: Reloaded, the upcoming horror film inspired by writer-director Jeremy Rudd's 2023 short film Die’ced.
Set in the 1980s, this slasher film centers on a notorious serial killer who escapes from a high-security asylum and embarks on a violent spree in Seattle on Halloween night. The cast features Eden Campbell, Jason Brooks, and Nigel Vona; you can watch the trailer below.
On Halloween night in 1987 in Seattle, Benny – a once-contained infamous serial killer – breaks free from a maximum-security asylum, reemerging behind a distorted scarecrow mask. As he leaves a path of destruction through the suburbs, chilling tales of his horrific past rise to the surface, igniting fear in a neon-lit city. However, Benny's motives extend beyond mere enjoyment; he is on the hunt for a specific target. A young woman, unknowingly linked to the darkest elements of his insanity, becomes his obsession, and as he closes in, the violence escalates. Die’ced: Reloaded presents a brutal, synth-heavy slasher dripping with 1980s nostalgia, as Benny etches his name into the annals of horror – one victim at a time.
Die’ced: Reloaded is scheduled for a limited theatrical release on August 8th, followed by a VOD release on August 12th.
