Exciting new trailer released for the Prime Video comic book adaptation Butterfly, featuring Daniel Dae Kim.
With less than a month remaining until Butterfly debuts on Prime Video, a new trailer has been released for the upcoming adaptation of Boom! Studios and Arash Amel’s graphic novel series.
The spy thriller features Daniel Dae Kim (Lost, Hawaii Five-0) as a former US intelligence agent whose life unravels when a sociopathic assassin from a nefarious spy organization locates him in his home in South Korea.
In addition to Daniel Dae Kim, the cast includes Reina Hardesty, Piper Perabo, Louis Landau, Kim Ji-hoon, Park Hae-soo, Kim Tae-hee, Charles Parnell, Sean Dulake, Nayoon Kim, Sung Dong-il, and Lee Il-hwa.
Butterfly is a character-driven spy thriller that delves into intricate family relationships set against the perilous backdrop of global espionage. The story follows David Jung (Kim), a mysterious and unpredictably volatile former US intelligence officer residing in South Korea, whose life is shattered when the repercussions of a past decision resurface. He finds himself on the run from Rebecca (Hardesty), a lethal, sociopathic young agent tasked with eliminating him, along with Caddis, the sinister spy organization employing her.
Butterfly is set to premiere on August 13th.
