The poster for season 5 of Netflix's Stranger Things hints at one final adventure.

      The fifth and final season of Stranger Things is approaching, and to get us excited for a new trailer coming this Wednesday, Netflix has released the official poster for the highly anticipated conclusion of the pop culture hit, hinting at one last adventure for Will (Noah Schnapp), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), and Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo).

      The story takes place in the fall of 1987, where Hawkins bears the scars of the Rifts' opening, and our heroes are united by a single mission: to locate and eliminate Vecna. However, he has disappeared, leaving his whereabouts and intentions a mystery. Complicating their efforts, the government has put the town under military quarantine and escalated its search for Eleven, forcing her into hiding. As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance nears, a familiar and heavy sense of dread looms. The final confrontation approaches, bringing with it a darkness more powerful and menacing than anything they have previously encountered. To end this horrific ordeal, they will need everyone — the entire group — to come together one last time.

      Stranger Things season 5 will feature the return of Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Joe Keery, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Brett Gelman, Cara Buono, Amybeth McNulty, and Jamie Campbell Bower, with new addition Linda Hamilton.

      The first volume of Stranger Things season five will debut on November 26th, followed by Volume 2 on Christmas and Volume 3 on New Year’s Eve 2025.
