      With just over two weeks left until the digital release of The Lizzie Borden Game, a trailer has been released online for the upcoming indie horror film. Written and directed by Calvin Morie McCarthy, the story centers on Emily, who is invited to a Friendsgiving retreat after her parents' demise. During the retreat, the group engages in a chilling game that invokes the vengeful spirit of Lizzie Borden.

      The cast features Airisa Durand, Jason Brooks, Laura Wilson, Jessica Noel Thompson, and Chynna Rae Shurts. You can watch the trailer below...

      After the abrupt and mysterious passing of her parents, Emily (Airisa Durand) is invited to a remote Friendsgiving retreat in a gothic castle. However, what starts as an opportunity for healing quickly morphs into a nightmare when the group discovers a sinister local legend and dares to play The Lizzie Borden Game. This results in the opening of a deadly portal, releasing the vengeful spirit of the infamous axe murderess.

      The Lizzie Borden Game is scheduled for digital release on August 1st.
