In line with its world premiere this weekend at the Fantasia Film Festival, a trailer has been released online for the sci-fi thriller Terrestrial, directed by Steve Pink (Hot Tub Time Machine).
Jermaine Fowler plays Allen, a writer working on his debut novel who decides to host a reunion for his college friends at his Los Angeles home. However, as the weekend unfolds, bizarre occurrences arise, blurring the lines between reality and imagination.
Fowler is joined in the cast by James Morosini, Pauline Chalamet, Edy Modia, Rob Yang, and Brendan Hunt. Take a look at the trailer below…
“The film tells the story of four college friends reuniting in Los Angeles at Allen's (Fowler) stunning and pricey mansion. As a writer creating his first book, Allen portrays his life as a splendid masterpiece, but cracks in the narrative begin to appear. The inconsistencies in his tale, combined with unsettling events around the house, lead Allen's friends to question the stories he shares. As his narrative begins to disintegrate, the three friends realize they are entangled in something they never anticipated.”
Terrestrial is set to premiere at the Fantasia Film Festival on July 20th, 2025.
