Amazon MGM has released a trailer for the German WWII tank drama, Der Tiger.

      Amazon MGM Studios Germany has released a trailer for Der Tiger, an upcoming WWII action drama directed and written by Dennis Gansel. The story centers on a crew operating a Wehrmacht Tiger tank as they undertake a covert mission on the Eastern Front, fueled by methamphetamine, deep into enemy lines.

      The cast features David Schütter, Laurence Rupp, Leonard Kunz, Sebastian Urzendowsky, and Yoran Leicher. You can watch the trailer below.

      Set on the Eastern Front in 1943, the five-man team of a German Tiger tank is assigned a secret operation well behind the heavily contested front. As they travel eastward, not only do they venture further into enemy territory, but they also confront their own fears and psychological struggles. Under the influence of Wehrmacht methamphetamine, their mission increasingly transforms into an exploration of profound darkness.

      Der Tiger will be available on Prime Video later this year, following its premiere in Germany on September 18th.
