Regarded as one of the most notorious films in the Nazisploitation category, Sergio Garrone’s SS Experiment Camp offers a disturbing and intentionally provocative experience that remains as impactful today as it was upon its initial release in 1976. Its controversial original poster featuring a naked woman crucified and suspended only intensified its boundary-pushing nature. Set towards the end of World War II, the narrative follows the twisted experiments conducted on innocent war prisoners by the sadistic Colonel von Kleiben, who aims to create the perfect Aryan race. Shocking, infamous, and perpetually exploitative, this film continues to repulse audiences around the world nearly 50 years after its debut.
