Lionsgate has released a new trailer for director Bill Condon’s (Dreamgirls) forthcoming adaptation of Manuel Puig’s celebrated 1976 novel and Terrence McNally’s Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, Kiss of the Spider Woman.
The film features Diego Luna, Tonatiuh, and Jennifer Lopez, and tells the story of two prisoners who develop an unexpected friendship as one recounts the plot of a Hollywood musical starring his favorite actress. Watch the trailer below...
Valentín (Diego Luna), a political prisoner, shares a cell with Molina (Tonatiuh), a window dresser convicted of public indecency. The duo unexpectedly bonds as Molina narrates the storyline of a Hollywood musical featuring his beloved silver screen star, Ingrid Luna (Jennifer Lopez), based on the hit Tony Award-winning Broadway musical.
Kiss of the Spider Woman is set to hit theaters on October 10th.
