Netflix has released the first trailer for Simon Stone’s forthcoming mystery thriller, The Woman in Cabin 10, which will be available on the streaming platform this October.
The film, adapted from Ruth Ware’s bestselling book of the same title, features Keira Knightley as a journalist whose life is threatened after she sees a passenger being thrown overboard from a luxury yacht. Despite the captain assuring her that all passengers and crew are safe, she embarks on her own investigation into the incident.
During a travel assignment on a luxury yacht, the journalist witnesses a passenger being tossed overboard late at night, but is told that it was a fabrication since everyone onboard is accounted for. Despite facing disbelief from others, she persists in her quest for the truth, putting her own life at considerable risk.
Alongside Knightley, the cast includes Guy Pearce, David Ajala, Art Malik, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Kaya Scodelario, David Morrissey, Daniel Ings, Hannah Waddingham, Gitte Witt, Christopher Rygh, Pippa Bennett-Warner, John MacMillan, Paul Kaye, Amanda Collin, and Lisa Loven Kongsli.
The Woman in Cabin 10 will be released on Netflix on October 10th.
