      Searchlight Pictures has unveiled a teaser trailer for Bradley Cooper's new directorial project, the comedy-drama Is This Thing On?, ahead of its world premiere at the New York Film Festival this October.

      Will Arnett and Laura Dern portray Alex and Tess, a couple grappling with life changes as a divorce approaches. Alex discovers a sense of purpose in stand-up comedy, while Tess deals with the sacrifices she’s made for their family throughout their relationship.

      In addition to Arnett, Dern, and Cooper, the cast includes Andra Day, Amy Sedaris, Sean Hayes, Christine Ebersole, Ciarán Hinds, and Scott Icenogle. You can watch the trailer below...

      As their marriage slowly disintegrates, Alex (Will Arnett) confronts middle age and the reality of divorce, searching for direction in the New York comedy scene, while Tess (Laura Dern) reflects on the compromises she made for their family. This situation challenges them to figure out co-parenting, their identities, and whether love can evolve into something new.

      Is This Thing On? is set to be released in theaters this December.
