Debuting today at the Venice International Film Festival, a new trailer has been released for Bugonia, directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, which is a remake of Jang Joon-hwan’s 2003 South Korean film Save the Green Planet! This sci-fi comedy thriller brings together Lanthimos with Emma Stone, known for her roles in The Favourite, Poor Things, and Kinds of Kindness, who portrays Michelle, a high-profile CEO kidnapped by two men who believe she is a menacing extraterrestrial. The cast also includes Jesse Plemons, Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias, and Alicia Silverstone. Watch the trailer below… Two conspiracy-driven young men abduct the influential CEO of a major corporation, convinced that she is an alien aiming to annihilate Earth.
Bugonia is set to be released in theaters on October 24th.
