Lovecraft-inspired survival FPS Beneath releases demo.

Wired Productions and Camel 101 have launched the demo for their Lovecraft-inspired survival FPS, Beneath, on Steam in anticipation of its inclusion in the upcoming Steam Next Fest. Players will face limited ammunition, ruthless enemies, and a challenging narrative-driven campaign. A brief trailer featuring an original track by Street Grease from Black Razor Records is available below.

Created by two brothers, Beneath aims to deliver a highly challenging single-player campaign that caters to fans of tough gameplay. Players will take on the role of experienced diver Noah Quinn, who embarks on what seems to be a routine expedition but quickly devolves into chaos as he becomes trapped within the dark depths of the Ivanov Research Station. Confronted by ancient evil and dwindling supplies, players must battle horrifying creatures to uncover a sinister conspiracy that threatens all of humanity.

Gamers will encounter a frightening array of foes, from merciless soldiers to transformed Lovecraftian horrors, all while managing limited resources. Players will need to enhance their weaponry and strategically utilize environmental hazards to ensure Noah Quinn's survival. This eerie world will impact Quinn’s sanity, rendering him more vulnerable to the attacks of the monstrous entities.

      Key features include:

      - Classic FPS horror crafted by two brothers passionate about the genre.

      - Survive against merciless soldiers and otherworldly terrors.

      - Utilize various upgradable weapons in destructible environments.

      - Maintain sanity amidst unsettling visions.

      - Explore the research station to uncover emails, PDAs, and survivor accounts that reveal a dark conspiracy.

The new demo for Beneath is now available on Steam.
