Emblem Pictures has unveiled a poster and trailer for the romantic thriller Desperate Journey, directed by Annabel Jankel.
Inspired by true events, the story centers on Freddie, a young man who escapes from Vienna as Nazi panic ensues, eventually arriving in 1940s Paris, where he becomes entangled in the alluring yet perilous world of burlesque.
The film stars Lucas Lynggaard Tønnesen, Clara Rugaard, Til Schweiger, and Steven Berkoff. Check out the trailer below.
With the Nazi invasion underway, Freddie Knoller is compelled to leave Vienna. Stranded in Paris without money and in desperate need of documents, he takes a job at a notorious burlesque club that is a haunt for high-ranking Nazis. In this glamorous yet risky environment, he falls for the lead showgirl and gets caught up in a series of events that will alter his life forever.
Desperate Journey is set to hit theaters on November 28th.
