      Prepare to return to Westeros in the New Year as HBO unveils its second prequel series to Game of Thrones, titled A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. Based on George R.R. Martin’s novellas, Tales of Dunk and Egg, the series is set nearly a century before the events of Game of Thrones and chronicles the adventures of the hedge knight Ser Duncan the Tall (Peter Claffey) and his squire Egg (Dexter Sol Ansell), who is destined to become King Aegon V Targaryen.       Set a hundred years prior to the happenings of ‘Game of Thrones,’ the story follows two unexpected heroes traversing Westeros: the young, innocent yet brave knight Ser Duncan the Tall and his small squire, Egg. Taking place in an era when the Targaryens still occupy the Iron Throne and the last dragon remains within living memory, these unlikely friends face great destinies, formidable adversaries, and perilous adventures that lie ahead.

      A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms features a cast including Peter Claffey, Dexter Sol Ansell, Finn Bennett, Bertie Carvel, Sam Spruell, Daniel Ings, Tanzyn Crawford, Ross Anderson, Edward Ashley, Henry Ashton, Youssef Kerkour, Daniel Monks, Shaun Thomas, Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, Steve Wall, and Danny Webb.
