Gore Verbinski is back with the initial trailer for Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die.
After last directing a feature film with 2016's A Cure for Wellness, Gore Verbinski has made his return to the director's seat nearly a decade later with Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die. Initially scheduled for a late January release, it has now been pushed to February 13, and Briarcliff Entertainment has unveiled the first trailer.
The sci-fi adventure features a cast that includes Sam Rockwell, Haley Lu Richardson, Michael Peña, Zazie Beetz, Asim Chandhry, Tom Taylor, and Juno Temple. The story revolves around a man who claims to be from the future and takes the customers of a legendary Los Angeles diner hostage in an attempt to find unlikely recruits to help save the world.
Eric Vespe noted in his review from the world premiere at Fantastic Fest, "I didn’t realize how much I had missed Gore Verbinski until I was in the theater experiencing the absolutely wild final act of his latest film, Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die, during the final secret screening at this year's Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas. I won’t spoil just how crazy this movie becomes; even if I did, I'm not sure you’d believe me."
