      Award-winning developer and publisher IO Interactive has unveiled the first episode of a new series of developer diaries for 007 First Light.       In this episode, Gameplay Director Andreas Krogh and Senior Level Designer Thomas Pulluello share insights into how the development team brings the story of a young James Bond to life through interactive storytelling and gameplay.

      007 First Light is an independent original narrative that empowers players to complete missions in their own unique ways, whether through stealth, direct confrontation, or a blend of both. Utilizing various gameplay elements such as Spycraft, Instinct, Gadgets, and Combat, players can employ Bond’s skills, charm, and intelligence to approach each mission. Spycraft focuses on stealth, information gathering, and infiltration. Instinct enhances Bond’s capacity to adapt, bluff, and deceive. Gadgets from Q Branch offer tactical versatility, while Combat involves gunplay, melee combat, and environmental interactions.

      007 First Light is scheduled for release on March 27, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC, and is currently available for pre-order.
