Peacock has released a teaser trailer and images for The ‘Burbs, giving a first glimpse of the TV adaptation of Joe Dante’s 1989 comedy horror film.
The mystery comedy series features Keke Palmer and Jack Whitehall as a couple whose lives are turned upside down when they go back to the husband's childhood suburban home, and strange new neighbors occupy the long-empty house next door, revealing dark, hidden secrets in their peaceful cul-de-sac.
Alongside Palmer and Whitehall, the cast includes Julia Duffy, Paula Pell, Mark Proksch, and Kapil Talwalkar. Watch the trailer below...
Set in contemporary suburbia, The ‘Burbs follows a young couple returning to the husband’s childhood residence. Their lives are disrupted when new neighbors arrive next door, unearthing old secrets of the cul-de-sac and bringing new dangerous threats that disrupt the façade of their tranquil neighborhood.
The ‘Burbs is set to premiere on Peacock on February 8th.
