Over twenty classic Warhammer titles are now available on Steam as part of Warhammer Classics.
Publisher SNEG, in collaboration with Games Workshop, has launched Warhammer Classics, a compilation of retro Warhammer games on Steam. This collection revives numerous classic titles from the Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 franchises spanning over the past 30 years. A new trailer (see below) highlights some of the games that are now accessible.
Video games themed around Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer have existed for much longer than many current gamers might think. In the early 90s, Gremlin Graphics released HeroQuest and Space Crusade, with Electronic Arts (EA) following up with Space Hulk in 1993. Since then, players have enjoyed immersing themselves in these fascinating universes.
The Warhammer Classics collection allows longtime fans to relive the nostalgia of these games while also introducing a new generation of gamers to the titles that contributed to the rise of some of the most beloved game universes. These older games reflect the state of the Warhammer universes at the time; for example, Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat may not align with the lore of Warhammer Age of Sigmar.

Each new and returning title has been updated to ensure compatibility with contemporary systems and provide smooth performance, while still preserving the original gameplay that endeared them to fans. The games included in this collection encompass various genres, including real-time strategy, turn-based tactics, fantasy sports, digital board games, and first-person shooters.
