      Peacock has released the initial trailer and images for The Five Star Weekend, the anticipated adaptation of Elin Hilderbrand’s novel of the same title.

      The drama series features Jennifer Garner as Hollis Shaw, a renowned chef who faces challenges in maintaining her seemingly perfect life after the profound loss of her husband. To help her navigate her grief, she decides to host a weekend gathering with four friends from various phases of her life.

      The cast also includes D’Arcy Carden, Gemma Chan, Regina Hall, Chloë Sevigny, Harlow Jane, and Timothy Olyphant. You can watch the trailer below…

      THE FIVE STAR WEEKEND follows Hollis Shaw, a celebrated chef and best-selling author recognized for her delectable recipes, exquisite taste, and friendly personality, as she deals with a heartbreaking loss. Struggling to move on, the tragedy reveals the imperfections in Hollis’s seemingly flawless life—her troubled marriage, her complex relationship with her daughter, and her increasing need for approval from her fans. To confront her grief and rediscover herself, Hollis plans a weekend retreat at her Nantucket home with three friends from different periods in her life—her childhood, her twenties, her thirties, and an unexpected fifth guest. Set against a lavish coastal backdrop, the weekend will lead the friends to personal growth in ways they never anticipated as boundaries are tested and secrets come to light.

      The Five Star Weekend is set to premiere on Peacock on July 9th.
