      In anticipation of its VOD release this July, a poster and trailer have been unveiled for the mystery thriller The Third Degree. The story revolves around William, who has brought together three of his former classmates for a play he has written. However, as they come together for a rehearsal in a historic theatre, events take a unsettling turn as secrets come to light, leading to deadly outcomes.

      Four actors rehearse a play in London as hidden truths and rivalries emerge, leading to deadly twists that blur the lines of reality. William has crafted and is helming a murder mystery infused with Hitchcockian tension and 1920s film noir elements. To bring this vision to life, he has invited his former classmates from an English Dramatic Academy for a solitary night of rehearsals in a creaky, historic London theatre. The script is tightly controlled, and the cast has been carefully selected. What follows, however, is anything but predictable.

      As the evening progresses, concealed affairs, long-buried betrayals, and treacherous ambitions begin to surface. William alters scenes on the spot, skillfully manipulating the actors’ egos and desires just as he shapes the characters in his script. Flashbacks to 1922 merge the past with the present, blending fiction with a far more sinister reality unfolding in real time.

      What starts as a rehearsal evolves into a trap. In a series of twists, the four actors attempt to outsmart one another – until the violence turns real. By the final act, it's unclear who is acting and who may actually be in peril. The Third Degree is scheduled for release on July 10th.
