Season 3 of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power includes Jamie Campbell Bower and Eddie Marsan.

With The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power officially approved for a third season, the series has revealed new cast members, including Jamie Campbell Bower (Stranger Things) and Eddie Marsan (Ray Donovan).

Bower is best known for his roles in The Twilight Saga, Sweeney Todd, and The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. Recently, he appeared in Kevin Costner's Horizon: an American Saga – Chapter 1, but his most notable recent role has been as the supernatural villain Vecna in the fourth season of Stranger Things, a character he will reprise in the upcoming fifth and final season.

Bower will be a regular cast member in the third season of The Rings of Power, where he is expected to have a significant role. While details about his character remain undisclosed, he is described as “a handsome high-born knight (code name Arlen).”

Marsan will have a recurring role, with details also being kept secret. His character’s codename is Dromm, and he has a brother.

The third season of Rings of Power will feature a substantial time jump from the conclusion of the second season, as the conflict against Sauron intensifies throughout Middle-earth. J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay will continue to serve as showrunners and executive producers for the series.

Set several years after the events of season 2, season 3 occurs at the peak of the War of the Elves and Sauron, as the Dark Lord seeks to forge the One Ring, which he believes will give him the advantage needed to win the war and ultimately rule all of Middle-earth.
