      Mena Films has unveiled a poster and trailer for Stevan Mena’s supernatural mystery-thriller, The Ruse.

      The storyline centers around Dale, an in-home caregiver assigned to look after an elderly patient at a seaside residence, following the mysterious disappearance of the previous caregiver. However, after experiencing a series of frightening events, Dale starts to fear for both her safety and that of her patient.

      The cast features Veronica Cartwright, Michael Steger, and Madelyn Dundon. Check out the trailer below…

      When the caregiver designated for an elderly patient suddenly disappears, Dale (Madelyn Dundon) is promptly called in as the substitute nurse. She races to the isolated seaside house, only to be caught in turmoil—grappling with a challenging patient, enigmatic neighbors, and alarming supernatural happenings that seem to haunt the residence. Is the house truly haunted, or is there something more sinister at play? As the situation intensifies and trust becomes elusive, Dale fears for her own life as well as that of her patient.

      The Ruse is set to hit theaters on May 16th.
