Denzel Washington, Robert Pattinson, and Daisy Edgar-Jones are set to star in Netflix's Here Comes the Flood.

      Netflix has secured an impressive cast for Here Comes the Flood, with Denzel Washington, Robert Pattinson, and Daisy Edgar-Jones set to star in the forthcoming heist film.

      Fernando Meirelles (The Two Popes) is slated to direct, while Simon Kinberg (Mr. & Mrs. Smith) is attached as the writer. Meirelles will produce the film along with Kinberg and Audrey Chon from Genre Films, with Samson Mucke acting as an executive producer.

      Here Comes the Flood presents a unique take on the heist genre, focusing on a bank guard, a teller, and a master thief embroiled in a perilous game of deception and betrayals.

      The project has been in the works for a while. In 2020, Netflix acquired the original screenplay through a seven-figure deal for the spec script. Though development has taken some time, including a prior attachment to Jason Bateman, the involvement of such high-profile talent reinforces Netflix's confidence in this narrative.
