The Eradicator, a Kryptonian AI superweapon, was created to remove alien contamination. On Earth, it constructed the Fortress of Solitude before attempting to transform the planet into New Krypton. It assumed Superman’s form after Doomsday killed him and, upon Superman’s revival, fused with S.T.A.R. Labs scientist David Connor.
