
Rainey Qualley explores a chilling urban legend in the trailer for the horror film Pig Hill.
In anticipation of its world premiere at Frightfest this August, a trailer has been released online for director Kevin Lewis’ upcoming horror film, Pig Hill, which is based on Nancy Williams’ novel, Pig. The story centers on Carrie (Rainey Qualley), who uncovers a chilling reality while investigating a local legend known as the Pig People, amidst a series of mysterious disappearances in her vicinity.

Filmed in Meadville, Pennsylvania — the birthplace of the actual urban legend — Pig Hill follows Carrie (Qualley), a woman plagued by a string of unexplained vanishings. As she delves deeper into the legend of the “pig people,” she unveils a frightening truth concealed within centuries of lore. Along with her new acquaintance Andy (West) and her brother Chris (Fernandez), Carrie’s quest for answers quickly turns into a desperate fight for her life. Pig Hill is set to premiere at FrightFest on August 23rd.
