In anticipation of its digital release later this month, a poster and trailer have been unveiled for Samuel Gonzalez Jr.’s (The Retaliators) psychological horror film, The Plastic Men.
Drawing inspiration from real events, the story follows Jonathan, a Vietnam veteran tormented by terrifying hallucinations and deep guilt, who contemplates taking his own life until an unexpected meeting alters his course.
The film stars James Preston, Aaron Dalla Villa, Gigi Gustin, Matthew Fahey, and William Fichnter; you can view the trailer below, courtesy of Bloody Disgusting.
Based on a true story fueled by an untold viral Craigslist ad, the film depicts Vietnam veteran Jonathan Teller, who, plagued by guilt and disturbing hallucinations, intends to end his life, but a serendipitous encounter with a mysterious woman changes everything.
The Plastic Men will be available on digital platforms starting July 29th.
