South Park Satirizes ICE and Kristi Noem in Recent Episode
A week after generating buzz with its depiction of an exposed Donald Trump, South Park is now shifting focus to his administration, targeting Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem and the agency she leads, ICE.
The latest episode preview was released on Tuesday, featuring the line, “When Mr. Mackay loses his job, he desperately tries to find a new way to make a living.” Season 27 of South Park continues this Wednesday, August 6 at 10/9c on Comedy Central and the following day on Paramount+.
The show's Twitter shared an image of Mr. Mackay, the struggling guidance counselor at South Park Elementary, next to Noem, who is dressed in a vest and holding a gun. Mr. Mackay is wearing a mask to hide his identity — similar to the disguises some Blue State legislatures have attempted to prohibit ICE agents from using.
The episode is titled “Got a Nut.”

This preview indicates that South Park, known for its consistent critique of figures from all political backgrounds, continues its satirical examination of the Trump Administration.
The previous week’s episode showed Trump in a state of undress and ridiculed the size of his genitalia. It also included a scene of him in bed with Satan — a recurring character who has previously been portrayed in intimate situations with Saddam Hussein — implying that he wished to engage with him.
The episode made references to the Epstein list, an alleged document linking individuals to the crimes of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Trump has been vocal in urging his supporters and the public to refrain from discussing Epstein.
Additionally, South Park took aim at Paramount, the owner of CBS and South Park, for paying $16 million to settle a lawsuit involving Trump. This payment occurred as Paramount was attempting to finalize a $1.5 billion sale, aiming to avoid federal intervention, leading CBS late-night host Stephen Colbert to label it “a big fat bribe.”
Shortly after, Colbert's series, The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, was canceled. Trump later stated on Truth Social that he should not be held accountable for Colbert’s cancellation.
“Everyone is saying that I was solely responsible for the firing of Stephen Colbert from CBS, Late Night,” Trump mentioned. “That is not true! The reason he was fired was a pure lack of TALENT, and the fact that this deficiency was costing CBS $50 million a year in losses — and it was only going to get WORSE!”
In the Season 27 premiere of South Park, parents in the town object to Jesus being included in the schools, which leads Trump to threaten legal action against them. Jesus, in turn, pleads with the parents to come to an agreement.
“I didn’t want to come back and be in the school, but I had to because it was part of a lawsuit and the agreement with Paramount,” Jesus states in the episode.
The White House expressed its discontent with the portrayal.
“This show hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention,” White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers declared. “President Trump has made more promises in just six months than any other president in our country’s history — and no fourth-rate show can derail President Trump’s momentum.”
Meanwhile, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone allowed their work to speak for itself.
When asked at San Diego’s Comic-Con International about the season premiere and its reactions, Parker simply responded, “We’re terribly sorry” — then maintained a long, expressionless stare.
Noem, the former governor of South Dakota, took over as head of the DHS in January and has been ridiculed as “ICE Barbie” for her significant public image transformation before assuming the role, alongside accusations of orchestrating reality show-like events to garner attention.
