The trailer for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl on PlayStation 5 announces a release date set for November.

      After a year since its initial launch on PC and Xbox Series X|S, GSC Game World’s S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is set to debut on PlayStation 5 on November 20th. The PS5 version will feature various capabilities, including Adaptive Triggers, Haptic Feedback Support, and much more. A new trailer is available below, highlighting some of the features that leverage the PS5's technology.

      For PlayStation 5 gamers, Skif's adventure in the Chornobyl Anomalous Zone will provide an immersive experience, thanks to fully optimized features like Adaptive Triggers, Haptic Feedback Support, Gyro Aiming via Motion Sensor, Speaker, Lightbar, Touchpad Gesture Utilization, and Tempest 3D Audio. Those with a PlayStation 5 Pro can also anticipate enhanced shadow quality and resolution, improved global illumination, better reflections, heightened volumetric fog, and optimized volumetric cloud rendering.

      In S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the second significant explosion in 2006 altered the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, giving rise to violent mutants, deadly anomalies, and various factions competing for control, resources, and the precious artifacts that attract many individuals (known as S.T.A.L.K.E.R.s) to the area.

      As one of these S.T.A.L.K.E.R.s, players will experience a non-linear branching storyline set in a 64-km² radioactive zone, featuring diverse environments altered by the catastrophic event. They will encounter many mutated creatures that will attempt to halt their quest for valuable artifacts. Fortunately, there are over 30 types of weapons available, each with various modifications, to help players defend themselves before they are overwhelmed.

      The hunt for these artifacts will begin for PS5 players on November 20th.
