New adventures featuring Colin Baker's Sixth Doctor are set to be released in April.

      The Sixth Doctor has more adventures ahead in April with the release of Doctor Who: The Sixth Doctor Adventures – Expulsion by Big Finish. This upcoming full-cast audio drama features Colin Baker and Nicola Bryant, taking the Doctor and Peri through Stuart England, Medieval France, and Viking Denmark alongside an old acquaintance—or perhaps an adversary.

      At the conclusion of the Sixth Doctor's August 2025 box set, Bad Terms, the Doctor and Peri reunite with Vislor Turlough, who previously traveled with the Fifth Doctor during the TV series from 1983 to 1984. Turlough's time with the Doctor was marked by tension for viewers, as he often aligned himself with the Black Guardian, conspiring against the Doctor. However, he now insists he has changed, raising questions about whether he can be trusted and how he will adjust to the Doctor's new demeanor. The answers will unfold across three stories:

      In ‘The Reckoning’ by Nev Fountain, a bizarre incident involving a neutron star lands the Doctor, Peri, and Turlough in seventeenth-century London, where their old friend Christopher Marlowe seeks to escape a pact he made involving his soul. But has Turlough also struck a similar bargain?

      ‘A Crucible of Queens’ by L M Myles transports the trio to post-Battle of Agincourt France. Here, the Doctor and Turlough find themselves on opposite sides of a conflict. The Doctor's mission is to aid King Charles VII, while Turlough forges a friendship with the Dauphin of France. Complicating matters are two formidable women maneuvering through the political landscape, presenting challenges for the TARDIS crew.

      Lastly, in ‘The Curse of the Duergar’ by Julian Richards, the TARDIS returns to the Viking era. The Shieldmaiden Hervor confronts the spirits of her ancestors to claim the Tyrfing sword, an ancient artifact created by the Dverg, but even the Doctor is unable to resist its allure, much to Peri and Turlough's dismay.

      Joining Colin Baker and Nicola Bryant are Mark Strickson as Turlough, Debbie Chazen as Isabeau of Bavaria, Julie Dray as Yolande of Aragon, and Lara Lemon as Hervor.
