My Adventures with Superman season 3 will feature the introduction of Cyborg Superman and Jessica Cruz.

      It has been a few years since *My Adventures with Superman* came back with new episodes, but we now have the confirmed premiere date for season three, set for June 13th, along with the adventures awaiting the young Man of Steel as several impostors attempt to take on the ‘Superman’ name.

      Showrunner Jake Wyatt mentioned in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that he and his team are adapting the *Reign of the Supermen* storyline for the upcoming season. This storyline is the final part of the *Death and Return of Superman* trilogy, where, following Superman's death at the hands of Doomsday, various impersonators emerge to claim they are Superman, trying to fill the vacuum left by him. Since this arc typically follows Superman's demise, which hasn’t occurred yet in the series, it will provide a new perspective on the classic narrative.

      The season three synopsis states: “Clark is eager to settle down and create a future with Lois, who fears losing her status as a star reporter at The Daily Planet if they do so. At the same time, Kara, emulating her Kryptonian cousin, is searching for an Earth partner and has set her sights on Jimmy, who has become a celebrity journalist after proving the existence of aliens.”

      The promotional image features Cyborg Superman, one of Superman’s most formidable foes. Formerly Hank Henshaw, an accident took away his human form and resulted in his wife’s death, for which he holds Superman responsible. He became Cyborg Superman in an effort to gain Earth's trust while planning for an alien invasion. Henshaw made a brief appearance in the season two finale of *My Adventures with Superman*, seemingly meeting his end after his fighter jet was shot down by Brainiac.

      Superboy will also be introduced with a new take on his character, retaining his arrogant demeanor and penchant for teasing Superman. John Henry Irons, known as Steel, has been a recurring character since season one but will take on a lighter role than in the original story. However, Wyatt hinted that if the series is renewed for a fourth season, Steel will have a significantly larger part.

      In this season, Green Lantern Jessica Cruz is set to make an appearance, paving the way for the spin-off *My Adventures with Green Lantern*, which is still in development and has not yet been officially greenlit by Adult Swim.

      *My Adventures with Superman* features the voices of Jack Quaid (The Boys) as Superman/Clark Kent, Alice Lee (People We Meet on Vacation) as Lois Lane, Ishmel Sahid (Jury Duty) as Jimmy Olsen, and Kiana Madeira (Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair) as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl.

      Season three of *My Adventures with Superman* will debut on June 13th.
