THE POWER SWORD, a weapon capable of harnessing the power and wisdom of Grayskull, was crafted by the most formidable sorcerer in the Universe—HE-RO. It was destined for a great champion to wield in order to safeguard the Realm during times of crisis.

However, He-Ro began to fret that the vast power and knowledge of the universe might be overwhelming for a single individual. Consequently, he forged another blade—one that could be wielded only if a champion turned into a tyrant. Unfortunately, an accident corrupted this alternate blade, turning it into a sinister object, staining its metal a shade of violet. Thus, He-Ro inadvertently created THE SWORD OF FLAWS. Aware of the monstrosity he had made, He-Ro departed from Grayskull and dedicated years traversing Eternia in search of a hidden refuge for the sword. There, the Sword of Flaws remained secure for a time. Until now...

Following the epic conflict at Heaven Piercer, the Sword of Flaws has fallen into the possession of Skeletor. Armed with this mystical power, Skeletor poses a greater threat than ever. Can He-Man and the Heroic Warriors thwart him before he becomes the MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE?

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe #5 releases on Wednesday, May 13th, 2026.
