Peacock has unveiled a teaser trailer for Crystal Lake, a prequel series to Friday the 13th that focuses on the grieving mother, Pam Voorhees (Linda Cardellini), as a troubling series of events unfolds in the small town a year after her son Jason's drowning.
In addition to Cardellini, the cast includes William Catlett, Devin Kessler, Cameron Scoggins, Gwendolyn Sundstrom, Callum Vinson, Nick Cordileone, Joy Suprano, Danielle Kotch, and Phoenix Parnevik. You can watch the teaser below…
The series, as a prequel to the Friday the 13th saga, tells the story of Pam Voorhees, a single mother who struggles with the grief of her young, ill son Jason, who unfortunately drowned in the town lake nearly a year prior. When two strangers come knocking at Pam's door to investigate her history, a disturbing series of events begins, causing the residents of Crystal Lake to question: who exactly is Pam Voorhees?
Crystal Lake is set to premiere on Peacock on October 15th.
