Wargaming announces the largest update in the history of World of Tanks.

      Wargaming has revealed that the most significant update for World of Tanks (update 2.0) will launch on September 3rd. This update is the most ambitious in the history of the game and will introduce major changes, including the addition of new Tier XI tanks.       The 2.0 update will implement substantial modifications to the game. In addition to introducing Tier XI tanks, there will be 17 new vehicles in this Tier (with plans for more to be added in the future), each featuring distinct gameplay mechanics. Players can also expect a new progression system to navigate. Moreover, over 350 vehicles from other Tiers will undergo reworks to promote fairer gameplay and offer more strategic roles.

      A new Hangar will be introduced, providing the perfect setting to showcase your tanks in a tank factory where vehicles are assembled, outfitted, and perpetually battle-ready.

      Wargaming will also roll out an improved user interface that will be more streamlined, functional, and informative. A newly designed matchmaker will be implemented from the ground up to facilitate quicker queues and improved team balances. Tank Commanders will benefit from enhanced sound design with recordings from actual vehicles, delivering more powerful battle sounds and a more immersive audio experience for gameplay.

      Additional features include an unprecedented map set in the Scandinavian region of Nordskar, and a brand-new PVE event called ‘Operation Boiling Point’, which serves as the backdrop for the Tier XI tanks' introduction, allowing players to test three different Tier XI tanks on a fresh battlefield.
