The teaser trailer for Outlander: Blood of My Blood season 2 announces a September release date.

      Although Outlander has recently concluded its eighth season, fans can look forward to more content as the prequel series Outlander: Blood of My Blood prepares for its second season, set to return on September 18th, as indicated in the newly released teaser trailer.

      Blood of My Blood explores the love stories of Claire's parents, Henry (Jeremy Irvine) and Julia (Hermione Corfield) Beauchamp, alongside Jamie's parents, Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy) and Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater). The first season depicted Henry and Julia's journey through the stones of Craigh na Dun, where they became lost and separated during the tumult of 1700s Scotland. Simultaneously, Brian and Ellen's romance faced challenges due to their feuding families.

      The initial season concluded with Henry (Jeremy Irvine) and Julia (Hermione Corfield) Beauchamp reuniting at the Craigh na Dun stones after their unexpected time travel left them alone in the expansive highlands of 18th century Scotland, yearning to return to their daughter, Claire. The teaser for Season Two begins at this pivotal moment, showcasing an upset Julia alone with their baby. With his love and hope distanced from him, Henry must confront his mental struggles while striving to find his way back to her.

      In parallel, the forbidden romance between Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy) and Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) seemed to defy the odds, but their escape was abruptly interrupted as fiery crosses were ignited and the 1715 Jacobite Rising erupted, throwing the clans into conflict. "In Season One, they chose each other over their families, but now they must navigate their clan loyalties as Brian commits to battle while Ellen attempts to reconcile with her family," the description states.

      The cast also features Tony Curran as Simon Fraser, Lord Lovat, Séamus McLean Ross as Colum MacKenzie, Sam Retford as Dougal MacKenzie, Rory Alexander as Murtagh Fitzgibbons Fraser, and Conor MacNeill as Ned Gowan.
