Daredevil: Born Again has officially been renewed for a third season, as announced by showrunner Dario Scardapene, keeping the Devil in Hell’s Kitchen. This series is a continuation of the Daredevil show on Netflix, with Charlie Cox returning as the Man Without Fear. He stars alongside Vincent D’Onofrio, who plays Wilson Fisk/The Kingpin, a character that became the mayor of New York City in the first season while campaigning to outlaw masked vigilantes. By the season's end, Fisk and his corrupt anti-hero task force gained control over New York through martial law, forcing Daredevil and his allies into hiding. The initial season also featured Jon Bernthal reprising his popular role as Frank Castle/The Punisher. He will not only return for the second season but will also headline a Punisher special on Disney+ and appear in the upcoming MCU film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Krysten Ritter will also be back as the superpowered private investigator Jessica Jones, reuniting with Cox from the miniseries The Defenders. Daredevil: Born Again is set to return in March 2026. New cast members include Matthew Lillard, Lili Taylor, Sydney Parra, Annie Parisse, and James Armstrong, joining Camila Rodriguez from the first season. Additionally, Susan Varon will reprise her role as Josie, the owner of her namesake bar that Matt and his friends often visit, along with Royce Johnson returning as Detective Brett Mahoney, a close ally of Daredevil. In “Daredevil: Born Again,” Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a blind attorney with enhanced abilities, is striving for justice through his busy law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) seeks his own political aspirations in New York. As their past alter egos come to light, both characters are headed toward an unavoidable confrontation. This December, Big Finish is set to release a box set of full-cast festive stories titled Doctor Who: Christmas – It’s a Wonderful War and Other Stories for fans to enjoy. The collection will present adventures featuring the Eighth Doctor, Missy, Sarah Jane, and Harry, along with a special treat for Jago & Litefoot enthusiasts, transporting listeners from a tranquil English village to an asteroid at the brink of creation. The upcoming box set includes four brand-new tales: ‘Unholy Night’ – a Missy adventure penned by Noga Flaishon – In this audio story, the notorious villain faces her greatest fear: a joyful Christmas. Stranded on a frigid planet, she must endure the kindness and warmth of the residents of Noel Falls, because while you can drop by whenever you want… you can never escape. In ‘Legacy of Blood’ – featuring the Sixth Doctor, Ellie Higson, and Leela, created by Julian Richards, listeners are taken back to 1962. An elderly Ellie Higson is haunted by her most traumatic memories from her adventures with Henry Gordon Jago and Professor George Litefoot. These reminiscences lead her to the village of Dunstanton-on-Thames, where she reunites with the Sixth Doctor, who is chasing an ancient evil. Familiar friends and foes resurface, and the Green Knight emerges from his confinement. ‘Presents of Mind’ – a Smith and Sullivan adventure by Mark Wright, sees Sarah and Harry preparing for their visit to Aunt Lavinia’s house. However, they are caught off guard by an assault from a frigid alien. Will they make it home in time for Christmas? Lastly, in ‘It’s a Wonderful War’ – a Time War-era tale featuring the Eighth Doctor by Jonathan S Powell, Foreman Galen Smith (a worker on an asteroid situated at the edge of a massive war) is troubled by nightmares of monsters slaughtering his people. Luckily, this distressed individual has a guardian angel who calls himself the Doctor. This festive collection showcases Paul McGann as the Eighth Doctor, Michelle Gomez as Missy, Sadie Miller as Sarah Jane Smith, and Christopher Naylor as Harry Sullivan. Doctor Who: Christmas – It’s a Wonderful War and Other Stories is currently available for pre-order at £24.99 for the download, or £30.99 for the download along with a collector’s edition CD.
