Pamela Anderson casi interpretó el papel de Anna Nicole Smith en Agárralo como puedas 33 y 1/3
Tras el estreno de la última película de la saga, The Last Showgirl, Pamela Anderson continúa su regreso al cine el próximo mes, protagonizando junto a Liam Neeson en el reinicio y secuela herencia de The Naked Gun, y parece que es un casting que lleva más de 30 años gestándose.
En una entrevista con Empire para promocionar la próxima película, Anderson reveló que su primer contacto con Police Squad! ocurrió durante sus primeros días en Baywatch, y habría sido interpretando a la estrella opuesta al original Frank Drebin Sr., interpretado por el legendario Leslie Nielsen.
“Casi interpreté el papel que Anna Nicole hizo”, dijo Anderson, refiriéndose al personaje de Tanya Peters, de Anna Nicole Smith, en Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult. “Fue solo por problemas de agenda. No pude hacerlo. Pero es bueno: prefiero interpretar este papel.”

En cuanto al papel en cuestión, la nueva película verá a Anderson interpretando a Beth, una femme fatale que contacta a Frank Drebin, Jr., interpretado por Liam Neeson, y a Police Squad! después de que matan a su hermano. Mira el tráiler aquí antes del estreno de la película el 1 de agosto.

The Naked Gun está prevista para su estreno el 1 de agosto de 2025.
